Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-23

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Arc mobile app and related services provided by Arc. By using Arc, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Arc. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us right away at support@arcapp.stream if you believe your account has been compromised.

Content you post

You retain ownership of the videos, posters, comments, and other content you submit to Arc ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Arc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, distribute, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Arc service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where the content has been shared and re-uploaded by others or is retained as required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Arc to:

Full details are in our Community Guidelines.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Arc has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content includes — but is not limited to — sexually explicit material, gratuitous violence, content that sexualizes minors, content that promotes self-harm or terrorism, hate speech, harassment, fraud, and material that infringes the rights of others. Abusive users are users who engage in any of the above conduct, who harass or threaten other users, or who repeatedly violate these Terms.

By using Arc, you agree that:

Reporting and moderation

You can report content or users from within the app by tapping the "More" option on any video. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to respond to reports within 24 hours and will take action where appropriate. If you believe content on Arc violates these Terms, email support@arcapp.stream.

Appeals

If your account has been suspended or your content has been removed, you can appeal the decision from inside the app. After signing in to a suspended account, the suspension banner displays an "Appeal" action that opens a form where you can explain why you believe the decision was a mistake. We review every appeal within 7 days and email you the outcome. Appeals are limited to one per moderation action. If you cannot access the app at all, email support@arcapp.stream from the address on the suspended account and we will route the appeal manually.

Strikes and repeat infringers

Arc enforces a three-strike policy for content-policy violations. The first confirmed takedown is a warning, the second results in a temporary suspension, and the third results in permanent account termination. Severe single violations (CSAM, threats of violence, doxxing) may skip the strike progression and result in immediate termination. Strikes expire from your record after 12 months without a further violation. The strike record itself is not user-visible; appeals can challenge any individual takedown.

Intellectual property and DMCA policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. You may not upload, post, share, or transmit any video, audio, or other content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any user-generated content on Arc infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by providing our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

You can submit your takedown request to our designated Copyright Agent at dmca@arcapp.stream. We enforce a repeat infringer policy and will terminate user accounts of individuals who repeatedly violate these Terms.

Ads and monetization

Arc shows advertising provided by Google AdMob. If you join the Creator program, you may earn a share of ad revenue tied to playback of your content, paid through Stripe Connect under separate Creator program terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a safety risk to other users.

Disclaimers

Arc is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arc disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

Arc is operated by an individual, not a corporation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Arc operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data arising from your use of Arc. The total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100. If you do not accept this limitation, your only remedy is to stop using Arc and delete your account.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect.
